Newsletter Advertising Specifications and Submission Guidelines
Ad Size and Layout Requirements
Full-page ad size: 8.5 inches wide by 11 inches high.
Ads may extend to the edges of the page. However, the following safe area guidelines must be observed to ensure content is not obscured or cut off in digital viewing:
- Bottom safe area: A minimum of 0.5 inches is required. No text, logos, or critical design elements may appear in this area.
- Top and side safe areas: A minimum safe margin of 1/8 inch is recommended, with up to 1/4 inch preferred for optimal readability.
Advertisers are responsible for ensuring all essential content falls within the recommended safe areas.
File Format and Design Specifications
Accepted file formats: PDF or PNG.
Color mode: CMYK only.
Image resolution: 300 dpi at final size.
Fonts: Use standard fonts or ensure all fonts are embedded in the file.
Only static ads are accepted. Interactive or animated ads are not permitted.
Hyperlinks and Tracking
Hyperlinks are allowed and encouraged for digital ads. Advertisers are responsible for ensuring all links function correctly and include any desired tracking tags prior to submission. Please include any desired tracking URLs with your submission.
Submission Method and File Naming

File naming convention: CompanyName_YYYYMM
Deadlines and Revisions
Marketing materials must be received no later than 30 days prior to the publication month.
A four-edition order is intended for the same ad to run in each edition. One revision is allowed prior to publication.
Acceptance of ads submitted after the stated deadline is at the discretion of the editor. Ads received after the publication date will be held for the next scheduled edition.
Content Guidelines and Review Policy
Newsletter marketing is intended to inform association members about products, services, and information relevant to their professional and practical needs.
Advertisers are expected to market their products and services in a manner consistent with the professional standards of the Association’s membership. All advertised services and products must comply with applicable laws and the New York State chiropractic scope of practice.
The Association reserves the right to refuse service to any applicant whose advertising, in the opinion of the Association, does not contribute to the overall objectives of the Association. Acceptance of an application or contract does not constitute an endorsement, either direct or indirect, of any product or service.
The Association assumes no responsibility for verifying the accuracy of advertising materials and is not responsible for errors contained therein. To the extent permitted by law, the Association will not be held liable for any loss arising from the use, misuse, or inability to use advertising services. Any liability, if imposed, shall be limited to 100 percent of the amount paid by the advertiser under the applicable agreement.
The Association reserves the right to reject or request changes to any advertisement that does not meet these standards.
