NYS Pain Society 2015 Annual Meeting And Scientific Sessions

The New York State Pain Society will be hosting their 2015 Annual Meeting and Scientific Sessions at the New York Marriott Marquis Hotel in NYC June 5-7.  We are pleased to inform you that NYSCA members Dr. Bruce Silber, Dr. David BenEliyahu, and Dr. William Venditelli will be presenting at this event during the Saturday afternoon session "Complementary Options to Manage Pain."

Dr. BenEliyau will be speaking from 2:30-2:45pm on the topic "The Role of Chiropractic Medicine in Spine Pain - An Introduction to the Latest Treatment Techniques and Literature evidence on the Efficacy of Chiropractic."  He will be immediately followed by Dr. Silber from 2:45 -3:00 on the topic "The Role of Collaborative and Integrated Care in the Community and Hospital Setting: Physicians and Chiropractic Doctors Work Together to Deliver Better Outcomes."  Finally, Dr. Venditelli will be presenting from 3:00-3:30 regarding "Chiropractic Pain Management: Manipulation Under Anesthesia."

Dr. Bruce Silber is the immediate past president of the New York State Chiropractic Association and currently serves on the NYSCA Clinical Practice-Multidisciplinary/Hospital Initiatives Subcommittee and the Workers’ Compensation Task Force. He is also a past NYSCA Board Member and District President. In addition to his work with the NYSCA he is part of a group practice of four physicians specializing in orthopedics andrehabilitation services in Massapequa, NY.

Dr. David BenEliyahu is an award winning Doctor of Chiropractic who has been licensed in New York since 1983. Dr. BenEliyahu has the distinction and honor of being recently appointed the Director of Chiropractic Relations at John T Mather Memorial Hospital in Port Jefferson, NY. He is coordinating an affiliation program between Chiropractors, MD's, and Mather Hospital to enhance the quality of care patients receive through interprofessional collaboration and communication. Dr. BenEliyahu is a postgraduate faculty member at NYCC, and has published many articles in peer reviewed journals on the efficacy of chiropractic care.

Dr. William Venditelli, a long time NYSCA member, has practiced chiropractic medicine for over 20 years.
