Niskayuna, NY. - The New York State Chiropractic Association (NYSCA) recently held its elections May 1-15, 2017 and elected Jason Brown, DC of District 10 to serve as President. Dr. Brown graduated from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY. He works in private practice in NY’s Capital Region sharing a practice with his wife, Alison Brown, DC. He has previously served the NYSCA as Vice President, Secretary, Board member, District 10 President and on several committees. He also serves as NY State Affiliate to the ACA.
Dr. Brown has earned his Diplomate in Rehabilitation (DACRB) and is a Fellow of the International College of Chiropractors (FICC). His publications include co-authoring a chapter in the Functional Training Handbook edited by Craig Liebenson, DC. He lectures nationally and internationally on topics of movement assessment, active care, and conservative spine care.
Together with the Executive Committee and Board, main efforts will include Unity, Modernizing our Scope, Membership, and Integration of the Chiropractic profession.
Joining Dr. Brown on the NYSCA’s Executive Committee are Vice President Lloyd Kupferman DC of District 6, Recording Secretary Gerald Stevens DC of District 17, Communications Secretary Christopher Piering DC of District 12, and Treasurer Anthony Palumbo DC of District 3. Continuing on the NYSCA’s Executive Committee is Louis Lupinacci DC of District 7 as Immediate Past President.
