The NYCC Admissions Department welcomed 208 new students in its September classes: 122 students representing 23 states, Puerto Rico, Canada and South Korea in the chiropractic program, 32 in the acupuncture master’s programs, 29 in the on-line Master of Science in Applied Clinical Nutrition (MSACN) program, and 25 in its on-line Master of Science in Human Anatomy & Physiology Instruction (MSHAPI) program.
NYCC takes great pride in the academic excellence represented by its incoming students and, accordingly, makes every effort to provide entrants with merit-based scholarship funding. In the new classes, 77 students who attained cumulative undergraduate GPAs between 3.0 and 4.0 received a total of $135,000.00 in merit-based scholarships. The College also awarded more than $274,000.00 in Presidential, International, and Legacy scholarships.
