NYCC Board of Trustees Holds Elections
NYSCA member Frank Lizzio, DC among those elected.
Seneca Falls: New York Chiropractic College’s Board of Trustees meeting was held on June 25, 2016. At that time, Chair-Elect, Tom DeVita, DC (CIC ‘75) was named Chair of the Board succeeding John Rosa, DC (NYCC ‘92) who completed his term as Chair in addition to his service as a Board member which began in 2003.
Dr. DeVita is an active member of both the Middlesex and Massachusetts Chiropractic Societies and has maintained a private practice in Acton, Massachusetts for more than 40 years. He has served as a member of NYCC’s Board of Trustees since 2004, most recently as its Vice Chair. Since 1983, he has been a Senior Clinical Instructor and respected lecturer for Activator Methods.
Frank Lizzio, DC (NYCC ‘80) was elected Vice-Chair of the Board and Karen Erickson, DC (NYCC ‘88) and Walter McCarthy, MBA, both long-time members of the Board were elected to serve on the Board’s Executive Committee. James Powell, DC was elected to serve on the Committee on Trustees.
Finally, the Board elected Rick Rosa, DC (NYCC ‘96) who will begin his service as a new member in October.
