The NYSCA appreciates the perspective that Women Chiropractors bring to the profession on International Women Chiropractors’ Day and every day!

Pioneering Chiropractor Dr. Mabel Heath Palmer was born on June 5th. Dr. Mabel encouraged women to become Chiropractors & talked often about how well suited the career was to women.  Mrs. Palmer was the wife of BJ Palmer, known as the father of chiropractic. Mrs. Palmer is known as one of the first female chiropractors worldwide.
