Diet and Lifestyle Support to Reduce Fatigue

More than 12 percent of the U.S. population will develop a thyroid condition during their lifetime. An estimated 20 million Americans have some form of thyroid disease. Up to 60 percent of those with thyroid disease are unaware of their condition.
In this course, we will discuss:
- The possible causes of fatigue
- The role of the thyroid in energy production
- Dietary changes needed to support each type of thyroid disease
- The importance of eating fat for active thyroid hormone production
- The importance of burning fat rather than sugar
- The importance of sleep and exercise to burn fat
- Macronutrients (protein, carbohydrate, and fat) for optimum function
- Vitamins and minerals needed for optimum function

Attendees MUST be registered and paid via credit card or check by 3:00 pm, one week before the course is to take place, to avoid additional fees. License Renewal
Continuing education credit (CE) is provided by Northeast College of Health Sciences.
This seminar is valid for CE credits in "pre-approved" states, so long as it falls within the scope of practice as outlined by the corresponding state board. It remains attendees' responsibility to contact the state board(s) from which they seek continuing education credits for purposes of ensuring said board(s) approves both the delivery method and content as they relate to this event.
