Keynote Address
Our President, Dr. Anthony Palumbo delivered a moving keynote speech highlighting the remarkable achievements of the NYSCA over the past four years. His address emphasized the Association’s incredible growth in membership and positive movement on the NYSCA’s legislative agenda, while also conveying an overwhelming sense of positivity for the profession.
Dr. Palumbo outlined some of the NYSCA’s strategic objectives for the betterment of New York Doctors of Chiropractic and chiropractic patients moving forward, including expanding access to chiropractic care in underserved areas of the state, providing more balanced science, philosophy, and art programs to the membership, and retaining the younger generation of DCs in New York State through fostering these future DCs while they are still in school. This commitment was clearly reflected in the enthusiastic participation of twenty-three doctor of chiropractic students from both New York chiropractic colleges that took the trip, led by Northeast Student NYSCA President Kaila Markland and D’ Youville Student NYSCA representative Nagina Ahmadi.
