NYSCA Member Spotlight - Dr. Anthony Palumbo - NYSCA President

Anthony Palumbo DCDr. Anthony M. Palumbo is a 1995 summa cum laude graduate of Life College. He had the honor of acting as his class Salutatorian. Following his College’s credo; to give, to do, to love, to serve, out of your own abundance, he has proudly contributed to the Profession of Chiropractic in many roles.

He is a longtime member of the New York State Chiropractic Association (NYSCA). He began his involvement with the NYSCA as a general member. Originally from Queens, NY he was strongly involved with District 3 of the NYSCA. At the District level he served as the District Delegate and then as the longstanding President.

Moving up through the ranks he has served in numerous positions within the NYSCA.

Dr. Palumbo is also a longtime member of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA). He currently serves on two ACA committees.

  • ACCE Exam Board Member of the American College of Clinical Electrodiagnosis (ACCE)                 
  • Member of the Scope Modernization Sub-committee     

He has attained two Diplomate status titles in Electrodiagnosis (DIBE and DABCE) and holds a Director’s seat on the Exam Board for the ACA’s College of Clinical Electrodiagnosis.

He is an adjunct instructor of Post-Graduate studies at Northeast College of Health Sciences and regularly lectures. He has served as an expert witness on many occasions on behalf of chiropractors.

He has enjoyed being in private practice for the past 26 years and holds active licenses to practice in New York, New Jersey, and Florida. He is currently part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team at New York Chiropractic & Physical Therapy on Staten Island, New York. 

His greatest joy in life is spending time with his family and serving as the head coach for his home town high school’s junior varsity ice hockey team.
